Libby was so very special and the most positive, encouraging and vivacious lady who touched us all at Central Middlesex Hospital too, very nearby to Willesden. She was the most inspiring and loved clinician, friend and manager, and as mentioned by Marty, she didn't manage just nurtured and created opportunities, and found funding from somewhere always! And am sure we had a chance to try the Ultrasound machine brought over to our hospital to see and try. Everyone working at Brent services loved Libby for how special she was and absolutely how lucky to have her in our lives and supporting our professional growth and friendships. There would be so many patients touched by her special care and Libby helping her physios provide great care also, which amazingly overflowed to our department too.
I also had the joy of playing golf with Libby, delightfully encouraging with every shot, and generosity in scoring and with compliments, and much laughter over the post-game wine. Libby was special lady who would be very pleased that our special fond memories of her will always make us smile and to feel so blessed and lucky to have her in our lives. x

I have great memories of working at Willesden under Libby’s management. Libby was a lovely person and great at bringing like minded people together. The best manager/ boss I had in my 20 year physio career. She was a kind, encouraging and supportive person . X

I am lucky enough to be counted as one of Libby's flock, she was my first 'boss' in physiotherapy and remains the best 'boss' by far. Libby was always keen to support and nurture her team; if you displayed an aptitude for something she would positively encourage it. My first exposure to diagnostic ultrasound was due to Libby's interest in Women's Health; I'm sure she was one of the first adopters of diagnostic ultrasound and we were lucky enough to have access to a machine in the department at Willesden. Like all who worked under Libby I count myself lucky to have met her and to have been a small part of her life; she will be sorely missed.
